Weather Update

Jane's Baytree Hurricane Party

Yes, It appears that the Tropical Storm Ernesto is headed right towards us. Fortunately, it is a little bugger that hopefully won't hang out in the in the warm water over the Gulf stream as long as it has hung out in Cuba....things must be getting better there....Anyway, we are all looking forward to the equivalent of a snow day when all the schools are closed, but the kids get to go sledding.

Space Shuttle Launch Scrubbed...Again!

As many know, we are fortunate to have VIP tickets to the upcoming launch. The boys are pretty bummed (not as much as the parents!). It's been a tough week for the shuttle. And it doesn't appear to be getting any better....yes that line goes right across the Cape. But don't worry, the only thing with less reliability than hurricane forecast models are Preseason #1 College football picks......uh....wait a minute.

Tricked Out!

Special homemade trolling lures and the boat in action.

Close up detail of how the boy's jet ski boat became thier first trolling platform, complete with outriggers and release clips....which proved to be effective as a very large Brayden fish provided the boat's first official "knock-down"! Fortunately, that one got away!
