After disconnecting the wireless router, the pictures seem to be loading with no problem. Maybe my brainy computer friends can give me some insight as to why this works? Maybe it's just randomly working today.

The only thing I can think of is that somehow your router decided not to let larger uploads through. Mine cuts out if I try to send more than about 2GB wirelessly. Occasionally cold restarting everything is not such a bad idea.
