Maybe we've got it?
After disconnecting the wireless router, the pictures seem to be loading with no problem. Maybe my brainy computer friends can give me some insight as to why this works? Maybe it's just randomly working today.
Regardless, look for more pics coming soon to a Blog near you.

Obviously Still not working
Sorry for the delay for those of you faithful followers of the Cheek Family Blog.
I have tried a new browser and even tried posting on a separate site and linking the photos. No luck.
Working hard to get back up to speed. A photo blog is really no fun without photos.
Few new updates. Work is still going well for Jen,the boys are great, the pool passed the final inspection from the county today. We're so happy to be nearly through. The painter is coming to finish the kitchen this weekend and we'll be officially through.
I promise pics as soon as I can. It really turned out nice. Jen and I couldn't be happier.
Sorry again for the delay. Thats about it. Wouldn't it be nice to have the Browns beat Baltimore in Baltimore and The Buckeye's beat TSUN in the big house. It would almost make up for the lousy last weekend of sports.

We may Be Up and Running
It appears I may be able to post again.....I'll try to devote some time this week to catching up on shots
By the way....Jennifer is hating life as the Buckeyes and Browns continue to beat the odds and win football games. Although the Buckeyes can't overlook the "zookster", their real matchup is the following weekend. The Browns on the other hand have a chance to make up for an awful loss early in the season to the Steelers. This weekend should be a fun one!
We had a great time with Jen's Mom in town the past couple days. Lot's of swimming, a day at the Zoo, steaks on the new grill and Jennifer and I took a vacation from life on Saturday and went to Universal Studios with Jane, Rich, Barbara and Dick. Perfect day....75-80 degrees and the parks were fairly empty. We ended the night with drinks at Jimmy Buffet's and dinner at Emeril's. Nice day.
Now it's back to the grind. Jen's mom goes back today and we go back to reality.

Continued Issues
I was forced to actually look into this uploading image issue and found that we are not the only people having this issue. Apparently, "Blogger" is trying to the site, but problems persist. So to update the old fashioned way.....
Pool is moving right along, will probably heat the whole thing this weekend as Jennifer and I head out to Universal with Jane, Rich, Barbara and Dick for an Adult Day at the themepark and Grandma Cleghorn hangs out with the boys.
Brayden's B-day was a smash, for those with little ones, the a Kid's Digital Camera has been the hit gift...well, outside of the GameBoy, of course.
Trick-o-Treat went wonderfully as the rainy season subsided for a couple hours for the boys to collect twelve pounds of candy. The Soldier (Alex) and Vampire(Brayden) were the best in the neighborhood.
The outdoor kitchen has been plauged by poor weather. Tile is on and Grill will go in today, have to wait on weather to finish the stucco and paint. It should be finished by next weekend, but with the grill going in today I may be firing up my first steaks tonight.
That's about all. Work is good for all, very busy. School is going smoothly for both boys. Hope to get pics out to everyone soon. Take care....The Cheeks!

Technical Difficulties
For some reason we are having some difficulty posting pics and video to the website.
We are hoping to have pool pics up soon. They finished the pool last Thursday and we took our first dive on Saturday. It was a bit chilly as the heater wasn't up to speed just yet. That little issue should be resolved this week and we will be relaxing in the hot tub just in time for Grandma's visit on Wednesday.
With a little luck the entire ordeal should be finished up this weekend and we'll be firing up the new outdoor kitchen, eating dinner on the deck and admiring the new landscaping as the kids spalsh around. Most likely that scenario will play out in two weeks, but one can always hope

No Pool Updates......
Sorry, rain has slowed stuff down. The grout is in and we are hoping to have the pool cleaned and plastered this week. If that happens, it could be filling by the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for dry weather!

Bald Eagle
Tile
Remember, we have a work in progress here, but the tiles are the first thing that will actually be visable when the pool is finished.
The grout, stair caps and accent tiles under the spa aren't in yet and the tan border under the tiles is simply the temporary shelf used to support the tiles as they dry in place and will be removed after grout. I am guessing we are nearing deck stage as the plumping was completed this week. Maybe next week? After deck comes screen and pump equipment, then pool finish and we fill the sucker up! Anyone wishing to comtribute to the 15,000 gallon water bill for the month of September can send donations to the house :) That's all for now.

Welcome Samuel Eli Jaeckel
Tile Comes tomorrow
The pool business has been a bit slow this week, plumbing and more digging.....yey. Tomorrow is a big day....the first day that something you can see for the life of the pool will be started. The tile folks come tomorrow to start tiling the pool waterline in. The guy that is building the summer kitchen will also be here tomorrow to check everything out and see our design. It's starting to get real.

Add Bobcat to the list!
If the flood's a comin', build the Ark in Baytree. We can now add the Florida Bobcat to the list of Armadillo, Pig, Deer, Otter, Hawk, Eagle, Vulture, Owl (screetch owls are amazingly large!), three species of snakes, multiple tree frogs, toads, lizards, squirrels, possums and raccoons.

The Day After......$& TSUN!
I thought I would let it simmer for a day and things would settle down. I thought I might be able to rationalize a Big Ten team losing their season opener, at home, against a Div I-AA team. Apparently since Michigan can no longer beat OSU on the field, they have devised a new strategy.....bring down the Big Ten. Lloyd "Car-Wreck" has sunk to a new level of disaster. As much as it pains me to say (as I've enjoyed beating the crap out of TSUN 5 of the last 6 years), he has to go. You can't lose that game.
Now not only do I have to deal with this on a Big Ten level, thinking about how many times this loss will come up throughout the year as the Big Ten wins close ones, works to win the respect of the media and attempts to get back into the National Championship picture (heaven forbid an OSU, Wisconsin or Penn State lose to TSUN this year), BUT.....Now I have to listen to a whole new round of jabs from "SEC fan" who already thinks they should be playing in the NFL and not the NCAA. It's a dark day in Melbourne. If you schedule a Div I-AA team, you should have to sign a contract that allows the winning team to take the schedule of the losing team for the remainder of the season. Then TSUN would be playing off the radar in Boone, NC for the reaminder of their homes games......where they belong.
