Catching up on some mid-summer fishing

This pod of dolphins followed us for about 2 miles jumping through the boat wake and swimming ahead to show us the way!
Hey....is that guy hugging my wife? Greg is actually a great friend with a very nice boat. Jen and I took a trip with Greg and his wife Debbie on a day that unfortunately produced very few fish. We had three nice Wahoo knock-downs in the morning, but remainded skunked until Jen started pulling up the mighty sea-bass. I think she ended the day with about 8! Way to go babe!
This bonita took a spanish sardine free lined under a shrimp boat about 20 miles out of Ponce Inlet.
This bruiser is my largest Jack weighing in at 37 lbs. His little cousins ravage the inshore mullet schools. This large adult took a trolled ballyhoo about 10 miles out at Bethel shoals. He put up a good twenty five minute fight. Although we were extremely bummed given we were fishing a tournament and were certain that we had a smoker king coming up to the boat, we sent him back to the depths to wear out another fisherman's arm someday.
